Skoda Octavia – A Car for Who?

The Skoda Octavia is treated as a cheap car for the masses. And without doubt it is. But does the price come with poor quality? The Skoda Octavia has been produced since 1996. Some people say that this car is a cheaper version of the Volkswagen Golf, which is a lot more expensive. They are not wrong because this car is based on a VW Golf platform and many of the parts come from the VW. There were two generations of the Octavia and it’s easy to buy the first generation of the used Skoda Octavia because there were a lot of these cars given to the market. I personally think that it’s worth buying a used Skoda Octavia and / or a used Skoda in general because these cars are really tough and durable. They offer almost the same quality as VW Golf’s at half price. The only obstacle is that the interior of the used Skoda Octavia, which was manufactured before 2000, is a little bit awkward. The interior of the next generation has improved in materials and overall look but it is still not as good as in the VW. But it is excusable because of the price. So if you only need a car that will take you from point A to point B, choose Skoda as it will see you save a lot of money.
